[after the beep, Xion can be heard on the other line. she sounds a little unsure, somewhat distant as she speaks, like there's something on her mind.]

Hey, Naminé... can I talk to you about something? It doesn't have to be now, just—whenever you're not busy. [she pauses. she wants to continue, go on a little about what she wants to discuss, but decides to save that for when they actually talk. so, she hurriedly tacks on:] Thanks.

[click! or. whatever noise the Guide makes when it answers a call.]

Hi, Naminé.

[she has the same distracted tone as before.]

Hello, Xion.

How are you?

I'm okay.

... Hey, where are you right now?

I'm in the park. Would you like to come over?

[she breathes a sigh of relief. it would've been a little awkward if Naminé was in 3-7.]

Yeah, sure, that'd be great. I'll be over soon.

I'll be waiting.

[Xion appears in a few seconds, thanks to a corridor of darkness. she doesn't feel like walking today. seeing her friend, she puts on a wistful sort of smile.]

[ Her sketchbook is on her lap, and Xion may have gotten a glimpse of what looks to be Roxas and Zexion. She shuts it fairly quickly, though, and sets it aside. ]

No problem. Will you sit?

[on another occasion she would have asked about the drawing, but she's too preoccupied at the moment.]

Yeah, of course.

[she takes a seat next to Naminé, her gaze turned downward.]

[ Despite the fact that she looks like the shy and quiet type, Naminé is never one to beat around the bush. ]

What's wrong?

[she plays with her hands as she tries to form her question. there's not really any other way to go at it.]

[ She opens the sketchbook once again, flipping through the pages before she finally stops at one in particular: Sora and Kairi's reunion back on the Islands. ]

[she looks at the drawing and goes silent for a little while.]

[she takes her eyes off the sketchbook and once again looks into the distance.]
