[ It does take her a short moment to think it over, but she hadn't made any plans with Xion recently so that leaves only one other option. ]

[she has a lot of questions, too, but the excitement over seeing Namine again--separate from her, tangible--overrides them. They'd barely had an hour together before the other girl had disappeared.]

[she ends the call and shows up six minutes later or so, and introduces herself to the door politely.]

[ The door opens, letting her in. Naminé is in the kitchen, putting away some dishes that were recently washed. ]

Kairi?

[she tilts her head to the side when the door opens, wondering if anyone's there, then nods to herself when she hears Naminé's voice, stepping inside.]

Yep, it's me.

[ Walking over to properly greet her. She stops about a foot or so away and waves. ]

I'm glad you found it okay.

[they're finally face to face again. She feels whatever butterflies were in her stomach start to settle. This is real, right? It must be.]

Seems like we're on the same floor. It didn't take too long.

[she hesitates for a moment, then holds out her hand.]

It's good to see you again.

You, too.

[ She gives the outstretched hand a quick glance before taking it in her own. ]

[ And waiting, breathlessly, to see if she would begin to flicker in and out again. ]

[she catches that uneasiness a second too late, realizing why--but their hands are already touching. And touching. Warm and solid. She gives those pale fingers a gentle squeeze, as if to reassure the other girl.]

[ She relaxes, smiling even more now. Her mind hadn't changed from the idea of merging with Kairi-- she knows that it would have to happen again eventually. But she wants it to wait until they can bring the worlds back before that happens, so knowing that they can properly coexist here is... ]

[maybe it was only natural, maybe it was the way things were supposed to be...but Kairi can't help feeling grateful for this. Especially after her talk with Axel--how he'd so casually mentioned not being supposed to exist. It didn't sit well with her. Naminé must have her own hopes, her own wishes for the future. How could she accomplish that from within someone else's body?]

[She remembers her Nobody's words with Roxas; "We'll be together. As long as Sora and Kairi are together." But she knows from her own experiences that wishes aren't enough. She waited for so long, and nothing had come true. You have to grasp things with your own hands. Believing is only part of it--there has to be action as well.]

[Right now, this is enough. Someday, she'll have to say all this, but she isn't sure it has a place right now, in their relief. She barely knows Naminé. But now they have time.]

[she lets the touch linger for a moment longer before letting go.]

This might be a weird request, but can you not mention that she's here to Genkaku? At least until I fix a misconception that happened when we spoke about her.

[ Now that the initial items were taken care of, she gestures for Kairi to make herself at home. Naminé was completely serious when she had said that the girl was welcome any time-- it's hard to say no to her. She doesn't really want to say no to her, really. ]

[ It's strange how different she and Roxas regard their Others. ]

I live with four other people. You'll probably see Arietta or Hope around the most though. I don't think anyone else is in right now...
